This page gives you steps to create a new Craigslist account.
Create a Craigslist Account
To create a Craigslist account, follow the steps below.
1. Go to craigslist.org and click my account in the top left-hand corner.
2. In the Create an account box, enter your email address and click Create account.
3. An activation email will be sent to the email address you entered. Open the email from Craigslist and click the long green link provided.
Please note: If you didn't receive an email from Craigslist, make sure you check your junk/spam folder.
4. Enter a password for your new account and click Set Password.
Please note: Craigslist requires you to create a strong password, the password strength bar will need to turn green!
You are now ready to start using your new Craigslist account!
Troubleshooting
Is it ok to continue without a password and use a passwordless account?
No, your Craigslist account needs to have a password in order for PostEngine to work correctly. Also, if you don't set a password, Craigslist will ask you to complete login verification every time you try to access your account!
