Editing and Deleting Scheduled Posts
Overview
You can update or remove your scheduled posts directly from the Scheduled Posts queue. You can also edit or delete live ads (if enabled).
Editing + Deleting Scheduled Posts
You can edit or delete scheduled posts while they are in the Scheduled state. This is helpful if you want to make additional changes after you have already scheduled an ad.
- Open PostEngine for Desktop.
- Click Scheduled Posts to open the queue.
- Locate the post you want to update.
-
To edit the post, click the pencil icon, make your changes, then scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

-
To delete the post, click the trash icon, then click Remove Post to confirm.

Editing + Deleting Live Ads
Please note: the ability to edit + delete live is not enabled by default. To request this feature, please Contact Support
You can make changes to or delete ads that are live on Craigslist from the PostEngine Scheduled Posts queue.
- Open PostEngine for Desktop.
- Click Scheduled Posts to open the queue. Ads that have a status of Posted are live on Craigslist's listings page.
-
To edit a live ad, click the pencil icon, make your changes, then click Update Ad to confirm.
*Note: You can't update photos on live ads. This is due to the way that Craigslist handles images once an ad is live on the listings page.

-
To delete a live ad, click the trash icon, then click Delete Ad to confirm.

Troubleshooting
Can I also make changes to ads that I posted using "Post Now" vs "Schedule"?
No, you can only edit and delete live ads that were scheduled. Any ads that were posted using "Post Now" will not be editable or deletable from the Scheduled Posts queue.
Can I edit the photos in my live ads?
You can edit the photos on your live ads but not from the Scheduled Posts queue! To adjust photos on your live ads you'll need to log in to your Craigslist account.
My scheduled posts are failing.
Make sure PostEngine for Desktop is left running on your computer throughout the day so that the program can post your scheduled ads. If you are leaving it running and posts are still failing, please reach out to us at help@rooof.com.
