If you're using the PostEngine for Desktop application:

  1. Open PostEngine for Desktop.
  2. Click PostEngine Settings on the left-hand side.

If you're using the PostEngine Chrome extension:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the puzzle-piece icon in the upper-right corner of the Chrome browser window.
  3. Click on PostEngine by Rooof.
  4. Click Settings.

Which Photos?

This section of the Photos tab allows you to choose where you would like PostEngine to pull photos from for your ads.

You are able to check one of the options, or both. You must have at least one option selected.

  • Include photos from my property website (recommended) - photos are pulled from your property website by default.
  • Include my uploaded photos (see below) - this option will allow you to upload photos from your computer to your settings page so that they can be included in your Craigslist ads.

Upload Photos

  1. To upload your own photos, turn the toggle on. The Upload Photos section of the Photos tab will expand and turn on when you have Include my uploaded photos (see above) selected. You can choose to use all uploaded photos or a specific number in each ad.
  2. The +Add Photo button will open the file browser on your computer and allow you to select the photos you'd like to upload.
  3. Click the trash can button if you would like to delete an image.

Note: Accepted file types: .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .bmp, .gif. The maximum number of images that you can upload is 50.

Photo Upload Order

The Photo Upload Order section of the Photos tab allows you to choose the order in which your photos will be uploaded.

  • Mix and shuffle all photos (default) - PostEngine will mix the website photos with your uploaded photos.
  • Website photos first - PostEngine will use the website photos first, then your uploaded photos.
  • Desktop photos first - PostEngine will use your uploaded photos first, then the photos from your website.

Excluded Photos

The Excluded Photos section of the Photos tab allows you to prevent certain photos from being uploaded from your website.

To exclude a photo, find it on your property website and right-click on the photo. Select Copy image/link address then paste this into the Excluded Photos section. Click the orange, Exclude this Photo button to confirm.

Troubleshooting

I'm trying to upload a photo from my desktop but it won't work.

Your photos may not be the right file type! Please check and make sure it is a .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .bmp, or .gif file.

The photos on my website are outdated, can I just use the photos that I have uploaded here?

Yes, of course! In the Which Photos? section, you can choose whether or not to include your website photos. You can upload up to 50 of your images.

Can I organize my photos by floorplan?

The PostEngine software can't match photos to specific floorplans so you aren't currently able to organize them this way.
