Overview

PostEngine for Craigslist users can request and receive PostEngine install links and property activation codes directly from the PostEngine website. Easy access to everything you need whenever you need it!

Where to find the PostEngine Install Page

The Self-serve Install Page can be found on the PostEngine website. 

  1. Navigate to the PostEngine website, located at https://www.postengine.com/
  2. Click on the Install button in the top-right corner of the navbar.

How to request your PostEngine for Craigslist Install Link

  1. Fill out the form on the Install page and then click Request Installation Link. Make sure the email you input in the Leasing Email field uses your company domain and watch for typos! 
  2. Head to your email inbox (the one associated with the email you entered in the Leasing Email field on the request form). We will send you an email and ask you to confirm your request. Click the Installation Link button in the email. 

  3. After you click the Installation Link button, you'll be taken to a page where you can select one or more properties from your management company that you'd like to activate for. When you've made your selection(s), click Next.

  4. You will now be presented with everything you need to install and activate your PostEngine software! The install link and links to instructions can be found in the Installation Instructions field. Your activation codes are just below the Installation Instructions in the Activation Codes field. You can also download a PDF of this information if you'd like to keep it for easy reference and/or share it with your team members. To download the PDF, click Download instructions as PDF.

Troubleshooting

I don't see my property on the list of properties for my property management company. 

No problem! Click My property isn't on the list and our Support Team will reach out to you soon.

I filled out the request form but I didn't receive an email asking me to confirm my request, I got an email that looks like this: 

If you received an email that looks like that then our system wasn't able to identify which property management company you're with based on the Leasing Email you provided. A member of our Support Team will be in touch shortly! 

Can I share this information with other members of my team? 

Absolutely! The PostEngine installation link can be used multiple times and, because the activation codes are property-specific, everyone posting for the property can activate with the same code. 

I've installed the PostEngine software and activated for the properties I post for but I don't have the option to schedule posts for all of them.
