Clearing Your PostEngine Cache
Overview
Clearing your cache can help resolve performance issues caused by outdated or stored data in PostEngine. You may be asked to do this by a PostEngine team member if something isn’t working as expected.
Clear Cache in PostEngine for Desktop
If you're using the PostEngine for Desktop Application:
- Open PostEngine for Desktop.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

Scroll down and click Clear Cache and Restart.

Clear Cache in PostEngine for Chrome
If you're using the PostEngine Chrome Extension:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the puzzle-piece icon in the upper-right corner of the Chrome browser window.
- Click on PostEngine for Chrome.

Click Clear Cache.

Troubleshooting
Why do I need to clear my PostEngine cache?
Sometimes cached data can interfere with the functionality of your PostEngine software, resulting in missing Post Now buttons or other performance issues. Clearing your PostEngine cache will typically resolve this.
I cleared my cache and am still running into issues. What do I do next?
