Updating your Craigslist Contact Information
Overview
The Craigslist Contact Information section of the Contact tab on your PostEngine settings page allows you to fill out the contact information that you want in your ads.
To access your PostEngine settings page
If you're using the PostEngine for Desktop application:
- Open PostEngine for Desktop.
- Click PostEngine Settings on the left-hand side.
If you're using the PostEngine Chrome extension:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the puzzle-piece icon in the upper-right corner of the Chrome browser window.
- Click on PostEngine by Rooof.
- Click Settings.

The phone number you enter here will be the only phone number displayed in the ads created from your computer!
Important Note: PostEngine may have set up a lead tracking number for your property during onboarding — if so, it's already pulling into your ads automatically. Adding a phone number here will override that, so check with your Marketing Team or PostEngine Support if you're unsure.
You can enter a contact name to display when a user clicks the Reply button on one of your ads. This contact name is not displayed in the ad body - only the reply information (see screenshot below).

Troubleshooting
Will the contact name and/or phone number show up when my colleagues post from their computer(s)?
No, the PostEngine Settings page is computer specific so the contact information will only be used in the ads created from your PostEngine instance.
I don't recognize the phone number that is pulling into my ads.
You may not recognize the phone number because it was created by the team at PostEngine or it was provided to us by your Marketing Team during onboarding. In most cases, the phone number is a lead tracking number that will be routed directly to your property. Please reach out to help@rooof.com if you have any questions or need clarification.
